I’ve seen a few others with this kind of list of quintessential “facts” about themselves and, well, it seems like a good way of sharing more about me.
Let’s start with the more obvious and probably essential facts about me.
- I am technically British.
- I was born in Germany.
- I now live in Quebec, Canada.
- I speak French badly, with a Lancashire accent.
- I am now a Canadian citizen.
- I have travelled all over the world.
- I have lived and or visited about 37 countries.
- I was in the Women's Royal Air Force for several years.
- I am one of six kids.
- My parents were military.
- My mother was a gifted singer.
- My father kicked bombs for a living.
- I met Sir Winston Churchill, I was 6.
- I met the Queen, QEII, I was 16.
- and now I'm bored talking about me ...
- I detest maple syrup. I mean I cannot stand the smell of it, let alone the taste. Yes, I know, how Canadian of me.
