Weekly Recap #3
Monday, January 20, 2025
Today is Monday, another start to a new week and so much more, as today marks the inauguration of the Orange Puff to the White House. A travesty. But hey. That’s an entry for next week’s Weekly Recap. Today, rather than focus on the upcoming week, I’m here to talk about That Was The Week That Was. As in, what happened last week.
Which, as usual for me, is not a lot, that is, till the weekend rolled around and me and mine hung out together at the hockey, yesterday. We got to see the Women’s Professional Hockey League game between the Montreal Victoire and the Ottawa Charge. Happily for me and mine, our team, the Victoire, won 2-1 in what was a really fun (and clean) game to watch. There were very few penalties, unlike their male counterparts, the women play a better, cleaner game. So much more enjoyable, even though we were seated up in the Nose Bleeds! I can’t wait for our next game.
Watching
We continue to watch the superbly laid back Aussie drama, Darby & Joan, and the very Canadian, St. Pierre series, as well, of course, as the Australian Open and NFL Play Offs this week. So much drama, so much angst.
