📺 Trigger Warning (2024) - ★★☆☆☆

Seriously, the five foot something Jessica Alba takes on the whole state of New Mexico and wins? In what’s usually an A-list male role, Alba throws her weight around and bests what seems like an army of bad guys, almost singlehandedly, and drives off into the sunset at the end of this ultra, and at times, graphically violent movie with a none existent plot.

You have been warned!

Another night on the couch last night tuning into Netflix, this time we watched The Union starring Mark Wahlberg and Halle Berry. Which was a classic Wahlberg movie, action-packed lightweight hair-raising fun, with some really nifty stunts. All the right ingredients we’ve come to expect in a Wahlberg movie. I’d say, at 57 and 58 respectively, Wahlberg and Berry can still run with the best of them.

Oh, and bonus comedy snippets from Dana Delany and Lorraine Bracco. Priceless.

This was the perfect Tuesday night filler. 🍿🍿🍿🍿

We watched To Catch A Killer on Netflix last night so you don’t have to.

This ultra violent movie had little or no story other than a damaged man wanting to kill as many people as possible. Not that the police and FBI were any less violent, killing their way through this 2 hour blood-splattered movie with a vengeance.

We binge watched the twisted thriller, Missing You, on Netflix yesterday and, I have to say, while I loved the tension throughout, was left a little letdown by the ending. Those last few scenes in the last episode were, well, questionable.

Still, despite that, a solid ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Like everyone else these last couple of days, we couldn’t resist, and watched: Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I can’t decide if I want to watch all the Harry Potter movies back to back, or just surf random movies on Netflix today. We saw some fun ones yesterday. We squoze in three through out the day while wrapping presents:

And you, what have you been watching lately, anything good?

I forgot to mention, for those of you who are looking for something sweet and funny to watch over the Christmas holidays, to go and check out THAT CHRISTMAS on Netflix. It features the voices of Brian Cox, Jodie Whittaker, and Fiona Shaw.

It’s everything you could want in a well-written movie; it’s humorous, poignant, silly, fun, dramatic and full of warmth.
