Had a quick walk around the park this morning and still no spring flowers in bloom there … yet. I was hoping for some daffodils, though we did see some ground loving bluebells still in bloom.
However, we did see the Bee Hotel had survived the winter and is ready and open for business.

For my last entry into #TheCompoChallenge I gift you Monet’s Bridge, as it is called here, in Québec City. This wonderful recreation is in my local park, the Bois du Coulonge. Which was once the residence of the Governor General of Canada (till fire burnt down the building) and is now a public park.

Today’s image for #TheCompoChallenge, the Whale Tail, is another iconic building here, in Quebec City. It was the main entrance to the Art Museum or the, Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec, but now, since they built the new main pavilion, is a secondary entrance.

Week five of #TheCompoChallenge, and we’re all about the Golden Ratio. Today’s photo was taken on the Terrasse Dufferin here in Quebec City, along side the famous Chateau Frontenac. In this shot you can see the Victorian pavilions to the left. And to the right, a bandstand, and flying a flag up on the hill is the Citadel, and the Governor General of Canada’s official residence along side the 22nd Regiment.
